T2 + Back Alley Films is an independently owned, multi-platform, creative services company based in Kansas City, MO. We’re a collection of artists from different disciplines and backgrounds gathered together for a common goal–our personal enrichment and glory.
Just kidding. Our common goal is to do the best work possible (which will then lead to personal enrichment and glory).
Take a look at our work on the t2.tv website. Because what you’re reading right now is not our actual website. The website you are reading now houses our blog, but everything else here has been created for the sole purpose of Search Opitmization.
Basically, nothing you are reading right now was written for you, but for cyber-robots who scan the copy on every website in the world. So, when we throw around phrases like Motion Graphic Design Experts or Post Production Techniques, it’s really only for the robots to pick out key words and rank us higher in Google.
And the funny thing is, these robots are blind to context. They are not sentient. They don’t know we are having a laugh at their expense. As long as we say something like Kansas City Production Company or Midwest Television Commercial Production every few sentences, the robots will be happy. Because, although we feel like we’re one of the top Creative Services Companies in the MidWest, we are terrified of these robots.
Terrified of robots. How did the marketing of Creative Services end up such a race to the bottom? You used to throw reels up on a website and people would either like it or they didn’t. And we are proud of our reels, so that’s a game we feel like we can win. But now we’re writing copy with as many key phrases like “a new production approach for a digital world” because a couple math geeks in silicon valley invented a formula that changed the way every human on earth gets their information.
Not that we want to go back to the old ways. Card catalogues. Carbon paper triplicates. Dirty hippies in bookstores. We like the new world. And we think you’ll like us. Welcome to T2+Back Alley. If we’re bold enough to mock a blind robot to its face, imagine how bold and imaginative we’ll be with your project.
